One year after beginning his studies at the Béla Bartók Conservatory in 2008 as a student of Mária Fekete, Zoltan became the first singer to be admitted to the special program for young talents at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music, where he studied with Éva Marton. After graduating, he spent a year at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where he studied with Gerda van Zelm. In 2014, he continued his studies at the Liszt Academy with Júlia Pászthy. Zoltan made his debut at the Hungarian State Opera in 2015 in the role of Blindleech in Zsófia Tallér’s opera Leander and Linseed, as the Opera’s youngest soloist. The following season, at the age of 23, he sang his first title role, Orfeo (C. W. Gluck). In 2018, he was invited to perform in the prestigious GroteZangers series in the Netherlands, where he shared the stage at the Muziekgebouw with Angelika Kirschlager and James Sherlock. In 2019, he continued his studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, where he specialized in Sibelius songs. In 2021, he performed the title role of Akhnaten in Philip Glass’s opera, in an acclaimed production by the Aleksanterer in Helsinki.
